WARSAW, Ind. (WFFT) — Ivy Tech Community College in Warsaw is expanding its offerings at the Orthopedic and Advanced Manufacturing Training Center.
Starting March 17, the college will hold in-person classes for Computerized Number Control machine operation.
The 13-week course will provide participants with the foundational practices of becoming a NIMS CNC Operator.
“Skills training equips individuals with the knowledge to excel in evolving industries,” Joe McMichael, Ivy+ Career Link’s vice chancellor, said. “It bridges workforce gaps and fuels economic growth in communities.”
At the end of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion along with a NIMS Operator Certificate Level 1 (Milling and Turning).
Tuition for the course is $3,000 but may be free through NextLevel Jobs.
